What Does this MRI Scan Result Mean?

I had a tlif in September. I had x-rays on hips at approximately the same time that I had an MRI on my lumbar area . I then had a tlif from L1-S-1. have a 9 or 10 level pain where my hips meet my torso. When I walk I have level 2 pain and when I sit approximately level 4. I can prop myself in bed with ice packs and have level 4 pain which is some what effective. I saw a G. P. On Friday and a P. A. on Saturday. I was told that this is normal. ( assuming it is on and off pain). I have to change from heat to ice packs, back and forth during the night. I walk slowly 9,000 steps a day and have minimal pain at that time. I have great fatigue through out the day. I am in regular good shape. ( age 63, 5 ft 11 inches and 180 1bs. I will see my specialist in March. I was feeling well in December and currently seem to be moving backwards. I have had physical therapy and walk regularly in the hospital pool. Is this normal? I take 4 tramadol 50 mg,3 times dailydiazepam 5 mg. 4 times dailyand 75 mg. of Lyrica 3 times daily. I have access to 10 mg. of oxycodone of which I rarely take. Please give me your opinion!

Oncologist 's  Response
Hi,

Everything seems well with medication and less pain you can even decrease your pain killer dosage and see if your comfortable but as of now everything is going on well with the above history.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sri Prabha, Oncologist
